The Export Processing Zone Administration (EPZA) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) convened an investment application review meeting on 31st May 2018. New investment applications, including Taiwan Xiao Shun Co., Ltd. and Kiyo Co., Ltd., Pingtung Branch etc. were approved to invest and station in. The total investment figures amounted over NT$ 1.2 billion, which is expected to increase 94 job vacancies.
According to the EPZA, Taiwan Xiao Shun Co., Ltd. produces and sells intelligent multi-functional cookers, ovens, and smart blenders. All its products can connect with smart phone APPs by its Internet of Things (IoTs) function, and provide customized and suitable recipes according to users’ needs, and also create different living experiences and make family lives more convenient through the communication between smart phones and house appliances.
Kiyo Co., Ltd. mainly produces average-sized and large-sized plug-in electric passenger cars with extended range or dual modules. The company plans to invest and build production plant for manufacturing whole vehicles with chassis, controlling all production processes of passenger cars, and creating customized products for meeting customers’ different needs. After entering the market, the company will become the first manufacturer in Taiwan’s electric energy passenger cars industry which has stream-lined production planning for entire plant and eight core technologies applications.
